Hello, new guy but I'm a fan of Bellairs from reading the Lewis Barnavelt trilogy. My favorite scene comes from the book above when Rose Rita is in Gert Bigger's bedroom, she's about to leave and lets what she thinks is the dog in, then it transforms into Gert Bigger. When Rose Rita turns to look at her, that was a jaw dropping scene for me.
