Service Announcement:

I have been Considering the Future of this Message Board
seeing as to put it short and simple, isn't going
anywhere. As Stated by myself on several occasions
the entire purpose of this board is to contribute
Fanfiction based apon the Books written By John Bellairs.

At first there was a lot of Spam on the Board
and I can understand as to why no body wanted to bother with a board
loaded down with Spam all the time, That Problem
was pretty much taken care of by requiring members to register.

At this point in time we have a total of 180 Members
and only one attempt of a Fanfiction.

Not only do people not make any effort to contribute
to the community, But Nobody other then
myself has Posted in a long time they simply join to become a member
and not bother to contribute anything to the community.
theres a Name for that its Called leashes people who wait
for others to do all the work so they can reap in all
the rewards, as you can see from the lack of activity
and contribution we have a community full of leashes.

I have been checking with other communities to see
how they handle this problem and there solution
is pretty straight forward and to the point.

Contribute on a Regular Bases or Get out!

To me that seems a little drastic, but on the
other hand most those communities are thriving
with everyone working together as a community.

I am they by creating this poll to get the general responce
of the members.

you must be logged in in order to cast your vote

also please feel free to add your opinion.

Nemo has returned. No longer a guest but now a member.... perhaps now the stories will return. I realize that my words may be seldom read and possibly never commented upon yet I will look upon it as an intellectual exercise like riding a stationary bike for the brain. It might not get me any where but its good to stay in shape.
There is hope.

Nemo.
